Teen Challenge Atlantic

October

Teen Challenge Atlantic is a 12-month residential care facility that helps men aged 18+ struggling with alcohol and drug addictions by teaching character and leadership skills through its curriculum and by encouraging students toward a healthier lifestyle. Separated from influences that previously triggered the need to turn to drugs or alcohol, students have the opportunity to start fresh in the company of others in the same situation. Addicts, alcoholics, and their families and friends begin their restoration at Teen Challenge.

Serving in Mission (SIM), Rev. Dr. Elias & Sheena Mutale

February

In their native Zambia, the Mutales are carrying out a twofold ministry. There is pastoral leadership development to assist emerging pastors and their churches acquire basic theological grounding. The second element encompasses community development work including support for two rural schools, a clinic, and their wider communities in the Kapiri Mposhi area of Central province. Rev. Dr. Mutale is a Theological Education Consultant for Central and Southern Africa.

Persecuted Church Ministry (Bible League)

May

Believers in countries where it is dangerous to be a Christian ask for just two things: Bibles and prayers. The Living Word of God builds up communities of oppressed believers and strengthens their resolve. In the midst of their persecution, there is tremendous victory as the Gospel is shared and many come to know the hope and comfort of Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour.
